SEED

SEED is a monitoring and control unit that allows considerable energy savings in any building. SEED manages the air conditioning system optimally based on the real external weather conditions and on the response expected from the building learned from the analysis of the building's energy behavior in the previous period.

Customization based on the number of circuits in the summer / winter or winter only system. Integration with other systems in the field (primary air, solar shading, etc.)

The intelligent climate management system implemented allows:

  • optimize the comfort inside the rooms
  • significantly reduce consumption

since it applies to the temperature control of traditional centralized systems of innovative control algorithms that allow to optimize the management of the plant based on:

  • free contributions to the building
  • the real climatic conditions reached in the environment

SEED manages air conditioning and cooling systems with a minimum expected saving of electric and thermal energy of 5% which, if it can even reach 20% if installed on particularly inefficient systems.

Example of payback time for a condominium of about 70 apartments in the 60s-70s (Energy Class E). The initial expense is recovered in less than 4 years (calculated without tax benefits).

The control unit is equipped with a particularly intuitive graphic interface that can be a valid support for plant management and maintenance activities. Engenio, in addition to offering the control unit in its standard configuration, can be involved even during the plant design phase to accommodate any special requirements and customize the product to the customer's needs.

GREM climatic control unit

Engenio realizes an innovative climate control unit for the management of thermal and cooling power plants of residential and tertiary buildings for a leading company in the real estate sector. The GREM control unit allows significant energy savings by integrating the components and logic of the Enerspace Srl IT 0001405239 and EP 08168441.7 patent systems into the classic control systems

The centralized centralized management takes place properly taking into account, as well as the external temperature:

  • of solar contributions
  • of the climatic conditions obtained in the environments
  • of building leaks during plant shutdown periods

A graphic interface allows the management of the main operating parameters via Touch Panel.

 

The system is also able to:

  • memorize and display the main measured parameters
  • provide the estimate of savings achieved compared to a traditional management system
  • monitor the operating status of the controlled systems
  • monitor the environmental conditions in the different rooms

Portal for the competitive management of energy performance of buildings

The installation of GREM units on buildings with different usage and structural characteristics has led to the creation of a Web portal for:

  • remote plant management
  • organization and updating of the registry of components in the field
  • analysis of the energy performance of buildings, taken individually and compared with each other

The portal, developed on the Asp.net platform, resides on a Cloud server, accessible via the Web. The communication between the portal and the control units takes place by querying the Web Service present on the control units. The management of historical data is carried out through a specially designed MySql database.
